Trials

Since Colin started CB Farming Systems in 2006, he has conducted various trials with some incredible results.

The the photos below display just a couple of examples. In time, we will post moredetailed content on trials, including exactly what was done, what we were trying to achieveand the results.

The plant on the left received no liquid fertilizer at sowing, granular only, the plant on the right did. Enough said.

CBFS is currently conducting our own replicated trails at the Temora research station. Interestingly, our trial site is the only one at the farm, staying on the same site each year, to give a true representation of an on farm environment.

Plants on the right were sown with liquid fertilizer only, plants on the left were sown with granular only. Note the improved root growth on the right as well as better structured soil. Better structured soil results in benefits such better water infiltration and improved nutrient uptake.
